Our Core Commitment
Tippi is a utility tool. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. All calculation data and archived transactions are stored only on your device.
Data We Collect
- Nothing from calculations — bill amounts, tips, and splits never leave your device.
- Nothing from Archives — your saved transactions are stored in local app storage only.
- Nothing from the Camera — receipt photos are saved to your device and are not uploaded anywhere.
- Anonymous analytics (optional) — basic crash reports via Google Firebase (no personally identifiable info) to help us fix bugs.
Advertising
- Tippi (free version) uses Google AdMob for static banner ads at the bottom of the screen.
- Google AdMob may collect a device advertising ID to serve relevant ads, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.
- Tippi Pro is completely ad-free. No AdMob. No tracking of any kind.
Camera Permission
- Tippi requests camera access only when you use the Receipt Camera feature.
- Photos taken are stored on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
- You may revoke camera permission at any time in your Android device settings.
Share Feature
- When you use the Share button, Tippi uses Android's native sharing system to send transaction text.
- Tippi itself does not transmit or log this data — it is passed directly to the app you choose (e.g., Messages, Email).
Children's Privacy
- Tippi is not directed at children under 13 years of age.
- We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob — ad delivery (free version only). AdMob Privacy
- Google Firebase Crashlytics — anonymous crash reporting. Firebase Privacy
- Tippi does not integrate with any social media platforms or other third-party data brokers.
Deleting Your Data
- All app data (archives, settings) can be deleted by uninstalling Tippi from your device.
- You can also clear the Archive at any time from within the app.
- Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data.
